Abstract: The “Mencius” chapter “Mencius” includes two sections: the first section uses facts to demonstrate today’s principles. The benevolent and wise people have no advantages and inferiority, the joy of heaven and fear of heaven are the most basic wisdom of Mencius’s overbearing political science; the second section uses great courage to consolidate God. The courage of King Wen and King Wu are the ultimate aspirations of Mencius’ overbearing political science. Through literary examination and rational interpretation, we can see that the “Jiangbang” chapter of Mencius is concise and conceives the meaning. The whole chapter uses “fear of the power of heaven” and “a angrily agitated and safe and easy to approach” to conceal the whole body and cover the universe.
